Hello - trying to make a duplicate of a Dual Layer DVD - am encountering the following error:

Data Error (Cyclic Redundancy Check)
File 1 F:/VIDEO_TS/VTS_01_1.VOB 23 TCSectorReader

It's the 1st time I've ever seen this message and am unable to proceed further. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated - I have tried playing the original disc in a stand-alone DVD player and while the image stutters slightly before moving on at the point that this error message surfaces, the disc plays w/o any issues.

Thanks in advance.

@ Eastern Sun,

Welcome to the Forum.

It appears that your original Commercial DVD Movie Title that you are attempting to copy has CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) errors.

Possibly these CRC errors might be cased by a scratched or could be dirty but usually CRC errors are caused by flaws in the original Commercial DVD Movie Title disk.

You could try to thoroughly cleaning the original Commercial DVD Movie Title disk.

Also suggest that you have to most current up to date version of AnyDVD – CloneDVD available.

Suggest reviewing the below Forum posting concerning CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) errors ->

If above suggestions don’t correct your CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) error problem suggest returning the subject undisclosed Commercial DVD Movie Title and obtain a replacement.

Coaster
