Convert UHD HDR source to SDR BD:
If you have a UHD and convert it like that will the quality be higher then the Original 2D Blu-Ray Disc?
Or is the Original 2D Blu-Ray Disc higher in quality.
Also if the quality is higher where can I change this into the settings to convert it as a SDR BD?

That is a very complicated question. There's no "one size fits all" answer, unfortunately. It all has to do with how the disc was mastered and how they did the blu-ray transfer. Most blu-ray transfers come from the 4k (or sometimes 2k) masters so they're usually pretty good. Converting HDR to SDR is somewhat of a black art. LOL So the answer is, on some discs, it might be better quality than the blu-ray. On other discs it will be noticeably worse.
