Consensus of opinion on Verbatim DVD-R Blanks?

Is there a majority opinion, (yes I know), on the quality of performance of Verbatim 8x, & 16x write speed DVD blanks?
I have exhausted my original supply of TY DVD-r blanks, and need to restock.
The product I am considering is the Made in Taiwan, 8x, and 16x Verbatim AZO, MID MCC03RG20.
Most forums, (including this one) are pretty out of date when it comes to brands, mfg. locations, batch numbers, and so on.
Also thread starts about DVD-r are kind of few and far between.
I am asking here because I feel that the depth of knowledge, and experience of the members will yeild me the best answers.

That's the good MID, I'd just switch to +R.
