Hi everybody,

I've tried to customize my settings using devices.ini, my config goes like that :

[* Generic Test]
Res1=856x482
ResAna1=856x482
AllowNativeTVResolution=1
useMencoder=1
SubTitle=1
ResUnit=2
ABRate=128
Format=lavf
lavfopts=format=mp4
lavcopts=aglobal=1:vglobal=1:vcodec=libx264:coder=1:acodec=libfaac
FileType=mp4
MaxVBitrate=5000
MVolume=10
x264params=level=3|nocabac|keyint=240|min-keyint=24|ref=3|mixed-refs|bframes=0|subme=2|no-ssim|no-psnr|me=umh|trellis=2|partitions=p8x8,b8x8,i4x4,i8x8|filter=-1,-1

Now, I've done that setting to encode regular DVD. When it was time to set the quality in the software, I've put the slider to 25 which gave me a bitrate of 3021 kbps. I've tried with one DVD and it worked flawlessly, the output was 856x482 30fps h264 3021 kbps, but when I've tried with a second one it didn't worked and the output was 856x482 24fps h264 2500 kbps!

Could somebody tell me why this is happening?

Thanks.

The DVD has a frame rate of 24fps?

Due to the DVD content, more or less bit-rate may be needed to encode different DVDs (although not sure if CDVDm utilises crf at this time).
