Anyone here use a Philips GoGear model SA6045?

I tried the generic WMV at various bit rates and couldn't get it to work without requiring a second conversion using the philips software.

Their manual simply says
WMV9 up to 384kbps, 320x240, 30fps
In winamp the info for one of their demo videos reads like this

Video size: 320x240
Audio: 44100hz, 16bps, 2ch
Length: 0:04:08
Bitrate: 484kbps

Thanks.

CloneDVD Mobile doesn't generate WMV9, it generates the older WMV8.

Until that point, Super Video Converter is in constant rotation for free on giveawayoftheday.com. It can convert any format into many other formats, including Windows Media (you chose 7, 8, 9, and WM-RM).
you can take what ever format you chose from CloneDVD Mobile and plug it into Super Video Converter to mod it that way.

Here is one you might like for the hr21-700. yes, its borrowed the Generic mpeg2 profile. You will also need a "MPEG2 Decoder and Streaming PlugIn for WMP11" if you don't have one, google it, if you know what I mean :rock:

A lot of the script work here is looking good. But unfortunately the ipod script from last year, (the 5.5 AVC one,) doesn't work at all. I keep getting this error:

Cannot get Console handle of stdout
The mpeg option must be an integer: 4bject=2
Error parsing option on the command line: -faacopts

I was hoping to create a script from scratch, but I can't find any resources.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks. :)

After a bit of messing, I did this:
Code:
Manufacturer=Apple (iPod/iPhone/AppleTV)
useMencoder=1
SubTitle=1
Res1=320x240
Res2=512x384
Res3=640x480
ResAna1=320x180

FileType=mp4
Quality=30
ipodfix=0
MaxVBitrate=2500
ThreadCount=off

Right, basically i'm using the Apple TV and iPod .5 hybrid: Keeping the iPod resolutions but using the 264 carrier. Now without the threadcount line it uses 2 cores at 100%, but it doesn't encode video, just audio. Put it in and balances the cores at 50/50 and it encodes video, but the filesize is half of what it should be......

Any comments?

Hi Schulle - please do NOT put the spaces in the code tags!!

This is just to show it in a post, otherwise it becomes code ;)

Your posted profile has an extra space in libfaac because of that. Here it is done with the proper code tags:
