Please use .txt log files in future, not .pdf

I guess that file got seriously out-of-sync. There's something wrong with ffmpeg's ac3-parser/decoder. I look into this.

The .txt would not zip for me only link with an .ink? Just trying to information to you.

Do you have the exact DVD name for me. Best is GTIN/EAN ("the barcode")

You can zip a .txt file the same way you zip a .pdf - but it's ok.

  10. mpeg passthrough does not seem to work

I have tried the mpeg passthrough with this beta and it does not appear to work. The message I get is

    Code:
ERROR: Unknown video codec 'copy'. Only supporting 'lavc' (libavcodec), 'x264', 'mpeg1video' (MPEG-1)..

I tested several movies using the Generic DivX Model.

The new beta runs smooth now. Beta 1.5.0.1. usually stopped at around 50% and continued after a while at a much lower speed. This issue seems to be resolved in the current beta.

On the other hand.... the sound is completely out of sync. This worked very well in the previous beta, but now it is a total disaster . In most of the movies the sound was several seconds out of sync. Only a couple of movies had their sound processed correctly. I think you have a major issue there.

For Generic DivX Model processing, the first beta produces the best results for me right now.

I have been using CloneDVD Mobile running on a Windows Home Server system via remote desktop for about one year and it has been working great. I use the Xbox profile and then stream the mp4 files to my Xbox 360.

I recently upgraded to 1.2.0.1 and have found the nearly all my DVD ripped with 1.2.0.1 have audio sync issues. I then upgraded to 1.5.0.2 beta and now when I try and rip any DVD I get :

    File 2 "C:\Program Files\SlySoft\CloneDVDmobile\apps\mencoder.exe" - -af volume=15 -of lavf -lavfopts format=mp4 -oac lavc -ovc lavc -lavcopts aglobal=1:vglobal=1:vcodec=libx264:coder=1:acodec=libfaac:vbitrate=1377:abitrate=128 -vf pp=fd,scale=720:405,harddup -aspect 1.777778 -info name="DECEPTION" -ofps 30000/1001 -o "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\CloneDVD\testnew.mp4" 109 TCE

    Encoder output:

ERROR: There was a problem parsing and correcting movie start. Please contact SlySoft..

    pipe:: Unknown format

The same DVD (US Deception) encodes with the sync issues with 1.2.0.1.
Looks like this beat has regressed something.

    Out-of-Sync Problems w/Leatherheads...

    You didn't attach a logfile.

    1. Use Anydvd 6.4.7.3: clickhttp://sandbox.slysoft.com/beta/SetupAnyDVD6473.exe

    2. Right-click on the fox icon on your toolbar, and select "Rip video-dvd to Hard Disk". Choose your source and destination paths. Click "Copy", and wait for Anydvd ripper to finish.

    3. Then import that rip into Clonedvd mobile.

Likewise, I get the same error with Generic MPEG-2 Pass-Through.

Also, if I select Generic MPEG-2 Pass-Through the Video Quality is set to 7 (ie. maximum) on the Output Method section. If I then click on the Default button to the right of the VQ slider, it incorrectly gets set to 23 (incorrect as the slider only has three values: 5, 6, 7).

Does/will it support SSE4.1/4.2 instructions (particularly for H.264 video encoding) ?

  17. Fernando

    Fernando Redfox Development Team

There's nothing of interest in SSE4 for H.264 encoding. I know, Intel marketing tells otherwise but that's why they call it marketing.

Do the SSE4 optimized DivX benchmarks that show a 50% speed increase over non-SSE4 DivX not apply to H.264 ?

  19. Fernando

    Fernando Redfox Development Team

No, that speed increase was not achieved by only using new SSE4 instructions.

    Cropping

How is it about the cropping feature/ability to remove annoying black borders?
