CloneCD wont install in VistaU

No matter what I try CloneCD won't install using VistaU. The program keeps getting stuck at detecting IDE or SCSI devices.

I have tried installing in Admin mode - no luck
I have updated firmware on my 2 Plextor drives - no luck
I have uninstalled devices from device manager and reinstalled - no luck
Not sure if there is any relation but Nero 7 works fine.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried latest CloneCD 5.3.1.0?

Has to be a corrupt download or their firewall is blocking as I installed the latest version on my vista ultimate 64 bit.

Whatever is causing you problems.
It isn't Vista related.
& while this shows AnyDVD(HD) process.
Download/Install/Register:
I used exactly the same procedure & settings.
Namely UAC & Windows Defender both enabled.
Using Vista Ultimate 64 bit Ed:

He should check if the digital license is valid for the setup. So he see if setup got a little bit corrupted.

Re-download CloneCD (just in case something corrupt in current file- due to background PC activity during previous download).
Then follow recommendation in this post:

What he means is this.
(You only need explorer if you saved the setup file somewhere other than the desktop.)
Find the setup.exe file for CloneCD. Right click & go to properties.

Click on Digital Signatures tab.

BTW Have you looked at &/or tried the info in my posts #'s 4 & 6?
