- New: Support for Windows 10
- New: Improved compatibility with modern hardware
- New: Support for large harddisks with sector sizes > 2048 bytes
- New: Improved file read / write performance with modern hardware
- New: ElbyCDIO layer updated
- Fix: Position of legal disclaimer on multi monitor configurations
- Change: Only drives which have a drive letter assigned are selectable
- Some minor fixes and improvements

The update is free for all registered customers, of course.
Just install the new version on top of your current version,
regardless which version you have installed:

Nice to see that CloneCD is ready for Windows 10 when it comes out next week.

First official update since 2009 (Six years.)

Nice to see that Slysoft is only updating their products when needed.

Reg key doesn't work anymore

When I Open CloneCD there's a popup saying that this is a Trial Version.
I ran my registry key but the popup keeps appearing.
What to do?

Try using the CloneCD registration tool:
C:\Program Files\SlySoft\CloneCD\RegCloneCD.exe

Note: The above location is for Windows XP. It will be in a similar location for other operating systems.

That did put me on the way to the solution
for me it was

c:\\User\myname\downloads\CloneCD_Key_4319096.CloneCD

I suspect that was superseded by CloneBD, but I could be totally wrong about that.

As it stands I am not gonna complain if CloneCD doesn't have Bluray support, I already use Imgburn for that.

The folks at Slysoft and Elaborate Bytes have been busy; updates for CloneCD, CloneDVD and AnyDVD. Yahoo!

Announcing a feature for a paid product and then without further notice only releasing it for another wouldn't be fine.

I do wonder though if the burning engine got updated. Last I knew was that CloneCD knows how to rip a blu-ray to ISO, but the burning engine doesn't know how to handle UDF 2.50.

Curious if CloneCD can now burn 1:1 copies of BD's too

I just tried to use it with a CloneBD created ISO of the movie DJANGO UNCHAINED (which also removed the Cinavia in it thanks to AnyDVD HD and CloneBD), but all I got was a error message.

This despite the fact that the ISO file is only 19.2 GB large, which should be easily be able to fit a 25 GB blank Blu-ray disc.

I'm using ImgBurn right now, and it burned without incident.

The burned disc is playing on my blu-ray player correctly, so it is obvious that CloneCD has issues with how to handle UDF 2.50.
