    First, be polite. I know I should post a log, but there is not a sticky on how to do it when program crashes (or hangs).

    My problem comes with CloneBD v1.0.8.4 with "Formula One 2013 Review" BD that had been ripped to iso and put on hard drive with plenty of room. The iso is 44.7Gb and I want to shrink it to 25GB for single layer. I did 'complete copy' with 'use original audio' and another time with 'convert all audio'. I just lowered the bitrate. The conversion starts fine for about 30 seconds and clonebd hangs and I have to close it.

    I put show debug window and with v1.0.8.4 I got a lot of the following right around that spot in the preview video:

    v1.0.8.4
    00:00:34.345 | [Debug] Transcoder [Chameleon-5] MEMORY_SHARE::Allocate:318 > MEMORY_SHARE(PAYLOAD(A:1100)): NO MORE MEMORY (HOLD) -- size=8388608, count=4255(4259), entry-size=8034480/354128 (8043373)
    00:00:34.345 | [Debug] Transcoder [Chameleon-5] MEMORY_SHARE::Allocate:323 > MEMORY_SHARE(PAYLOAD(A:1100)): NO MORE MEMORY (RELEASE)
    00:00:34.345 | [Debug] Transcoder [Chameleon-5] MEMORY_SHARE::Allocate:318 > MEMORY_SHARE(PAYLOAD(A:1100)): NO MORE MEMORY (HOLD) -- size=8388608, count=4255(4259), entry-size=8034480/354128 (8043373)
    00:00:34.346 | [Debug] Transcoder [Chameleon-5] MEMORY_SHARE::Allocate:323 > MEMORY_SHARE(PAYLOAD(A:1100)): NO MORE MEMORY (RELEASE)

    00:00:34.804 | [Debug] Transcoder [Chameleon-5] MEMORY_SHARE::Allocate:318 > MEMORY_SHARE(PAYLOAD(A:1100)): NO MORE MEMORY (HOLD) -- size=8388608, count=4266(4267), entry-size=8051115/337493 (8058018)
    00:00:34.850 | [Debug] Transcoder [Chameleon-5] MEMORY_SHARE::Allocate:318 > MEMORY_SHARE(PAYLOAD(A:1100)): NO MORE MEMORY (HOLD) -- size=8388608, count=4265(4267), entry-size=8050937/337671 (8058018)
    00:00:34.850 | [Debug] Transcoder [Chameleon-5] MEMORY_SHARE::Allocate:318 > MEMORY_SHARE(PAYLOAD(A:1100)): NO MORE MEMORY (HOLD) -- size=8388608, count=4265(4267), entry-size=8050937/337671 (8058018)
    00:00:44.346 | [Debug] Transcoder [Chameleon-5] TASK::Insert:348 > Chameleon(00000000) :: Task insertion stalled for pid:1100 - Audio Encoder ([counter:5052], 5052..5060, max 8)
    00:00:44.357 | [Debug] Transcoder [Chameleon-5] TASK::Insert:348 > Chameleon(00000000) :: Task insertion stalled for pid:1100 - Audio Converter ([counter:5061], 5061..5069, max 8)

    I installed v1.0.8.0 and ran same procedure and got this during same point in video:

    v1.0.8.0
    00:00:36.678 | [Debug] Transcoder [Chameleon-5] CODEC_FFMPEG::DecodeAudio:915 > CAUTION: received error 0xC14D4E49 from audio decoder, restarting
    00:00:36.933 | [Hint] Transcoder [Chameleon-4] IChameleonFrontEnd::GetString Encoder [1100]/channels -> 2

    BUT it continued to process ISO BD way past that point in video.

    I ultimitaly used BDRebuilder with success so it is not a problem, but just wanted to point out an issue of mine.

    OK, I was hesitant to post this, any help would be appreciated. Negativity would not be appreciated.

    OK, I tried again to see if program would hang, and THIS time it responded after a while (slightly different point in video, but about 30 seconds into conversion) and I could get a log file, which is attached. Saved myself....

    It may Not help your issue but update to 8.0.3.1. and post another logfile for the Devs. They added some more needed information in this version.
    Here's the link :
    http://sandbox.redfox.bz/SetupAnyDVD8031.exe

    Also to create a logfile in CBD after successful or aborted operation. Where it says go to destination folder. Or new or same . Press the alt button. That should make two boxes pop-up that say logfile. One is to email bugs@elby. The other is to save it .

    I used CloneBD so far on Anime BD movies DL and SL aka 50g and 25g backup 1:1 and so far no problems reading them. I'll have to try them on Harry Potter BD version to see as well.

    Okay, how do I submit this to Elby? I don't use integrated email, so I have to manually email them. What do I put as Subject? What do I put as Attachments? What do I say in body of email? The reason I asked is the one time I tried to email them, they said they couldn't help with copyrighted material. I know support their product and I know how to write an email, but I feel as if I'm missing some magic words like please or something...

    BTW, CloneBD 1.0.8.5 Beta fails much quicker into encoding process with this bluray ("Formula One 2013 Review"). I will post CloneBD log when I have time.

    Okay, attached is log from v1.0.8.5, it fails processing video about 3 seconds into video but I let it run for a little over a minute. Screen after abort reports data read to be 10.42 MEGA-B while data written to be 12.05 GIGA-B (double checked temp folder and it was accurate). I noted same issue with failure of "The Bodygaurd" in Bugs and Issues part of CloneBD Forum.

    I'm off to v1.0.8.4....

    Good testing, perhaps @Reto will have enough information to start debugging.

    Still fails with CloneBD v1.0.8.8 after couple seconds (same place) and after 10 minutes wrote ninety some GB of data to hard drive.

    I also tried the send bugs button, but it complains no program is associated in win10. I'm using the built in email program with gmail account. I did email them the bug manually with same email program, will let you know response (if note-worthy).
