I'm a long-time user of CloneBD, but have recently changed computers. The new computer has Intel i7 with 32 GB, GeForce RTX 3060 with 12 GB, Windows 11.

I'm attempting to convert an ISO (only the main program on the ISO) to H.265 MKV. When I enable CUDA (decoding, encoding or both), the conversion terminates after 1-2 minutes. The error messages are:

0x00000000199dff[40] transcoder stop
Error 0x80004005
Errors in processStreams

The result is the same if I try H.264 instead of H.265. I have tried changing the video bit rate higher or lower, but nothing seems to work.

If, however, I completely disable CUDA, the project runs without a hitch (in either H.264 or H.265)

None of these problems occurred on my old computer (slower i7 with 16 GB, GeForde GTX 745 with 4 GB, Windows 10). I ran the exact same project there and it worked flawlessly with CUDA enabled.

Can anyone shed some light on this problem??

Thanks for any help

Not without a Clonebd logfile

Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

1st log - CUDA enabled for both encoding and decoding H.265 (transcoding stopped itself after about 90 seconds)
2nd log - CUDA enabled for encoding only H.264 (transcoding stopped itself after about 90 seconds)
3rd log - CUDA fully disabled, H.265 - project successfully completed

Thanks for any help

GPU desc. : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060

Try installing NVIDIA drivers. It looks like CloneBD thinks the Intel drivers are for the RTX 3060

Thanks so very much for your response - it put me on the road to getting this fixed!

The NVIDIA card came installed by the manufacturer, and the NVIDEA drivers were installed. However, the Intel integrated graphics had not been disabled. I uninstalled the NVIDIA drivers, then disabled the Intel graphics, rebooted, then reinstalled the newest NVIDIA drivers. Everything works!

Thanks again!

There are ways to make them co-exist but it involves changing settings in the BIOS.
Don't know what MOBO you have
Look for a setting for "prefer pci-e graphics adapter"
