I love AnyDVD HD!

I am running ANYDVD HD 6.1.3.2.
I was generally able to play and copy most HD DVDs before I installed 6.1.3.2 but when I tried "Clerks 2" today I got the following status:

Media is a HD DVD.
Booktype: dvd-rom (version 1), Layers: 2 (opposite)
Size of first Layer: 7267968 sectors (14195 MBytes)
Total size: 4718592 sectors (9216 MBytes)
Video HD DVD label: CLERKS_2
Media is AACS protected!
Removed AACS copy protection!
ERROR reading ADV_OBJ directory!
ERROR processing HD DVD disc!

thanks,

No problem here:

Media is a HD DVD.
Booktype: hd-dvd (version 3), Layers: 2 (opposite)
Size of first Layer: 7267968 sectors (14195 MBytes)
Total size: 14535936 sectors (28390 MBytes)
Video HD DVD label: CLERKS_2

I wonder why your drive reads booktype dvd-rom. And why the total size would be just 9GB. Any other software running or installed? Alcohol 120?
Do the HD DVD paths on your harddisk exist? Check HD DVD settings in AnyDVD.
If all fails, try to reboot.

It's working now!

James,

Thanks for the suggestion to look at Alcohol 120%. That was it!
I experimented with it and it is not necessary to disable Alcohol 120. You just have to make sure that in Alcohol Options->Emulations that "Ignore Media Type" is NOT checked. I'm fine now.

Thanks,

Oh, that sucks. You should tell them about this bug (they should leave the hd-dvd booktype alone).
