Looking for DVD-R 16x 100 pack.
Longevity not important - I'm doing a project for a church group as a favor.
Spindle not required.
I'm just looking for the CHEAPEST DVD-R out there.
I found $22.50 for 100 (shipped) on Ebay - any better deals out there?

-W (yes, I know what I'm doing - note I didn't say +R)

Ok, with those requirements stated, have you checked Amazon? AmazonBasics 4.7 GB 16x DVD-R (100-Pack Spindle) $22.36

Thank you. :)

I'll take the time to explain my reasoning to the skeptical. :D

My burners (in both PC's) are incapable of book-typing.
DVD-R's are statistically slightly more compatible with some older players. (as opposed to a DVD+R that has not been book-typed to DVD-ROM)

Longevity is of no import on this project.
So long as they work for 2 weeks, it's over.
So as long as I don't get too many coasters on the project - I win.
I'm donating my time and materials for this project.

We all know that a DVD Player will play over minor errors.
Since there will be no need to ever try to copy these burns - small errors are also of no importance in the scope of this project. I plan to burn at 8X.

Lastly, The size of the material that I'm burning is only about 3gb.
Therefore, I'm going to be far away from the outer edge of the disk. (which is where 90% of the errors take place)
