I have tried to backup my "digital copy" of TRANSPORTER 3 -
(provided in the BluRay 2-disc pack).
The "digital copy" is written in "wmv" file, but is copy protected - and I can not make a "backup" copy.
Any ideas how I can "un-lock" the file I have copied it to my hard-drive.
The movie-program allowes ONLY ONE DOWNLOAD , which I have done -
but it now resides on my computer as a "WMV" file (protected), and I would
like to make a standard DVD file and burn to a Standard-DVD for archive, so
that I can also play on a Non-BluRay player in my den-TV.
ANY HELP would be most appreciated. Oh , I am using "AnyDVD 6.7.5.0" ,
and CloneDVD2 ver 2.9.2.8 - - -
If you know "where" to find the instruction - could you PLEASE provide a
"link" in your answer. Thank you for your help!! JoeFriday

It's nothing that AnyDVD can help you with. Google fairuse4wm.

You could make your own digital copy with AnyDVD & CloneDVD mobile from the DVD.

FAIRUSE4WM wont work though with Windows Media Player 11, or later versions of WMP10 - you also need(ed) the protected files license on your computer if FAIRUSE4WM was to work.

The protection used on .wmv files was updated a while ago so that you needed WMP11 to play them back on.

This (forced) update to WMP11 crippled FAIRUSE4WM.

As far as I know, FAIRUSE4WM was never updated to work with WMP11 (or later versions of WMP10).

I'd forget about the 'Digital Copy' disk, and use BD-Rebuilder with it's Alternate Output mode to create a standard DVD from the original BD.
