Can i download 1080p hd with the SD Netflix plan ?

I am pretty sure you only get what you pay for, that said I didn't even know there was a cheaper option for just SD.
 
AS can only dl what the server provides. So if you only have the SD plan, NF will only send you this information.
 
No. Netflix will check the plan you have and provide the manifest containing the relevant video streams, in this case SD only. And this manifest is what AS will use.
