Bundles along with the existing discount?

Wondering here, I will be getting the 50% discount and I was thinking about picking up some other stuff when I go to buy. I know my 50% won't carry over to other products but will it have any effect on the existing discounts for bundles or do those go by how many products you have in the cart to begin with?
