Any idea how can I backup my DVD? Is this an CloneDVD issue, or AnyDVD?
You have a bad original disc. Download Nero cd-dvd speed. It's a free program. Select the tab labeled "scandisc". Select the appropriate drive letter, and click "start". If Nero cd-dvd speed reports read errors, your disc is bad and needs to be exchanged.
Still not working Well, after trying with another copy of the DVD [R4], same errors appear (AnyDVD 6.1.6.0 / CloneDVD 2.9.0.9) 1.- At 60% of scan, it stops (sometimes). Rip start error: "File 1 D:/VIDEO_TS/VTS_01_5.VOB 23 TCSectorReader" 2.- "Nero CD-DVD Speed" keeps returning error. 3.- I tried alternate methods using other software; but again, while ripping, at 60% the "preview" stoped (continued ripping), finished rip, then burn (removing everything except 5.1 english content, spanish subs, no compression). While playing the DVD, at the end of chapter 17, showed a few frames of other chapters then jumped to chapter 27. Can't read chapters 18-26. Please, let me know how to backup this DVD. Thanks in advance.
The disc is bad or your drive is slowly dying (or a combination thereof). Anyway, if cd-dvd speed is reporting read errors to you, then you can forget backing up that disc until you get one that doesn't report read errors.
