It was released in he US on the 18th.

I'm talking about the movie called Full Of It. According to Amazon's website it's not released until the 25th.

Did Amazon mess up?

Okay, the source of this info appears to be doom9: http://forum.doom9.org/showpost.php?p=1046469&postcount=10

May? Do you live on the planet Earth?

Considering a freeware ripper purportedly does a movie only rip on this disc already, I don't think there's any doubt. And who knows? Internally, Slysoft may have already broken the protection with the development of its A.I. Scanner (without realizing it).

And if this protection has been in development for years (it hasn't), it makes me wonder why anyone bothered in the first place, since it will probably take 30 minutes or less for James to defeat it after looking at the disc.

By the way, folks, this rule protects everyone including those I disagree with (unfortunate, but true nonetheless):

So, please extend Minkcalf Rendafoot some civility. Thank you.

Actually, according to some posts I read this morning, this protection was originally posted as a freeware demonstration on Doom9 forum back in '05 as a way to protect your own discs. It appears that the studios took it, modified the living hell out of it, and released it as their own work. I find it quite hilarious that a 5 year old ripper that's been abandoned is able to create a movie only copy. Give the Slysoft guys a bit of time and this will definitely become a non-issue as always. I doubt it will take the AI Scanner to crack this...more than likely James will look at it, patch up the code that deals with this protection, and release 6.1.7.5. And then we'll be done with it.

Oh, Junior73Italy, right?

I don't have any proof of that, but that seems plausible to me.

yup

Give the Slysoft guys a bit of time.

Pfff . . . James (or peer) will wave a magic wand over the disc--and presto! :agree:

I'm not sure, but, it could be. BluTach was mentioning it on CDFREAKS this morning.

It seems entirely plausible to me, as well.

Yup. And then this discussion will be over and we'll have to wait for the studio's next failed attempt. :D

1. Answer questions 8 from this link please: http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=321

2. Also please post a list of all filenames and filesizes that are on disc you're having problems with. Thank you

3. I don't work for Slysoft (nor do I defeat dvd protections), so sending me the disc would be pointless. But thank you for the offer.
