Hey all,

I thought I would start this thread to help anyone who is looking to cache any OPD required discs while it is still possible.

I've only gone through my Fox/MGM titles so far, so will update this as I move through the rest.
I don't have too many newer releases so not too bad for me.

Hopefully this helps anyone with limited time who maybe can't go through every disc, so they can skip ones that aren't needed :)

Wish I had this much time. I still have 40 full untouched ISO movies to extract and compress on my16 terabyte system. Thank-you for taking the time to share this. My life involves traveling 2400 miles a week...

A couple more USA Fox discs that need OPD:
American Horror Story Season 4
Exodus: Gods and Kings

If it was released in 2015 (and maybe all of 2014), assume it needs the OPD.

Every Fox disc I tried older than 2013 worked fine offline
(Avatar, Alien Anthology box set, AVP, History of the World Part I, Point Break (1991), Office Space, Jumper, Independence Day, Firefly... I just quit testing them at that point. :) )
All 9 seasons of The X-Files were AACS only, and didn't need to connect to the OPD at all.

Some of the discs in the Rodgers & Hammerstein collection require OPD.

Having issues with the 4th season of ARCHER Blu-ray.

OPD gives me this error:

AACS MKB version 31
Warning, OPD error: HTTP error 12007!
Warning, OPD error: !
ERROR: online decryption database required!
ERROR processing Blu-ray disc!

Tested a few last night, these are the ones that required opd:

Commando Director's Cut (2015)
Birdman (2015)
SPECTRE (2015)
Robocop (1987) [2014 Remaster]

Cool someone is making a cache...I looked at some of those movies and I wouldn't spend a dime because they aren't worth backing up. But it's good that someone took the time to create the cache. Thanks.

Strange, OPD servers still working for me.
I assume you have the hosts file setup already?

Yes, with the 3 other Slysoft ip addresses, unless I made an error.

As you can see, I have the lifetime licenses to all of the Slysoft products in my signature.

I'll reboot my PC and see if that'll work in a few minutes.

 I have to admit my movie tastes aren't the best :)

I had to reboot my PC originally for changes to work, so may just be that.

I edited my hosts with the 3 IP and 2 other IP from viruscan but now the latest check on the one the had 3 IP address show no IP address just domain name. So I think Whois has been sent legal papers.

Lifetime subscription licenses to AnyDVD HD, CloneDVD2, CloneCD, CloneDVDmobile, CloneBD, and Game Jackal Pro.
Same here but minus Game Jackal Pro but I also have Virtual CloneDrive...

I hope so.

Well, I'm about to do it in 2 minutes, I'll report back what my results were.

Nothing. I'm still having issues in decrypting these two movies, and another one, 12 Angry Men, an old classic from the 1950's.

Here is the AnyDVD HD logs and the pics of my issue.

ddjmagic, I was trying to post to you privately, thanks for the PM.

I think I might have found out why my situation isn't working.

Here is the image that I have, posted below.

I think I have to change my hosts file and reboot it (The PC).

Your opinion?

Thanks to ddjmagic, my issue is solved.

Here is the updated version to my AnyDVD HD with a telling picture here to show how a small change helped fix things for the better (shown below)

The only issue I still have is the 12 Angry Men Criterion Collection Blu-ray.

I've posted the AnyDVD HD log with all the other stuff that I have. I should still be able to rip this old movie into anything I want.

There's a very simple reason why pinging key.slysoft.com doesn't work without the hosts file fix. A domain relies on DNS entries and it's exactly those that have been removed at the DNS level. That's why you tell the hosts file that a certain IP links to a domain.

One might think that someone could write a little application that does the simple task of doing what needs to be done. ;) Just sayin'.

Won't be me.

Me neither, besides it ain't that hard to do it the manual way. 3 simple text lines, save, done.
