"BDROM" Volume Label

    Did anyone notice the volume label "BDROM" on Blu-ray discs in Explorer or the AnyDVD status window?
    If yes, please let me know the name & country of the disc.

    yeah I thought it was unusual

    THE SENTINEL (US)

    ripped without issue though

    Can you please try AnyDVD 6.1.5.3 beta? Does it display a different (better) volume name?

    No, 6.1.5.3 was just released a few hours ago. ;)

    Just install AnyDVD 6.1.5.3, insert the disc and post the content of the AnyDVD status window (you can cut & paste).

    even isobuster shows that label..perhaps a mastering slip?

    ummm, ijust didn't post the results, but I assure you I used 6.1.5.5
    (and virtual clonedrive)

    Summary for drive N: (AnyDVD 6.1.5.5)

    Drive (Hardware) Region: 1

    Media is a DVD.
    Booktype: dvd-rom (version 1), Layers: 2 (parallel)

    Total size: 4718592 sectors (9216 MBytes)
    Video Blu-Ray label: BDROM
    Media is AACS protected!
    Removed AACS copy protection!
    Blu-Ray disc is region free!

    CHRONOS US and works fine
