My Archos AV500 has a native screen resolution of 480x272, so I've never figured out why the profile for this device in Clone DVD Mobile is 480x270?

I know its only 2 lines short of ideal, but for a small screen, every line helps.

So I changed ResAna1=480x272 in Devices.ini and it seems to work.

BTW, I also changed the default Quality limit value from 23 to 30, which seems to allow for a higher quality image file. Both are under the
[AV/PMA/Gmini (400/500/700)] heading in Devices.ini

Sound reasonable?

Use DivX

I have Archos 604 Wifi who has the same resolution of 480x272. I use the Generic (DivX) in Clone DVD Mobile and see, the resolution is 480 x 272 as standard.

I agree with you that the Quality 30 is god for movies, but for Cartoons is 23 enought. But it was a good idea to change default Quality to 30.

Enjoy the Quality with Archos.

Modified Devices.ini file for custom Cowon A2 output

My device is the Cowon A2 and I used some of the suggestions in your posts for the Quality adjustment. I have also made some other mods for my device so that my Cowon A2 and X5 profiles work from the opening menus. My A2 was based on the Generic DivX profile.

My device also supports the 480x272. That was easy enough to change in my new profile.

My entries are:

I've tested a lot of my movies and against other software on the market. I just purchased the SlySoft bundle. This option is working very well for my needs.
