No matter what I try, I always end up with the "cinematographers comments" audio track. I've tried rip to .iso, and rip to hard disk, all followed by CloneBD.
 
Then you're doing things wrong on CloneBD. Anydvd only rips 1:1, only getting commentary tracks requires some form of audio track manipulation and that's something anydvd is physically incapable of doing. Anydvd does to'not touch the audio on any way whatsoever.

This is not an anydvd problem, but a problem with what you're doing in CloneBD

Plus, with CloneBD, you can test the audio and listen whether you have the Director's commentary, or the audio for the hard of hearing, etc.
