I have a ASUS DV1608 drive, and have installed VISTA..! i can not make the speed control "silent" work. The drive spins around with full speed, some special typed of dvd`s or cd`s, it spins with normal speed.

If it`s my drive "ASUS" could some one give a surrgestion for a drive, that will work for VISTA, so that the drive keeps silent..??
