Anydvd HD 6.1.9.2 beta

Can someone please post AnyDVD_Info files for these HD DVDS:

A Mighty Heart (Paramount)
Eyes Wide Shut (Warner)

Thank you!

PxHelp20 (System32\Drivers\PxHelp20.sys), Version 3.0.43.9 (2.0.0.0)
Company: Sonic Solutions, Product: PxHelp20

Descriptions taken from http://www.cdr-zone.com/forum/about4719.html

Part of Sonic Burning engine, it's made by prassi/veritas and licensed to Sonic. Comes with Winamp, 1click DivxToDVD and (older versoins of) Digion Audio.

I don't feel this filter usually causes problems

PZWDM (system32\Drivers\PzWDM.sys), Version 1.0.0.59 (1.0.0.0)
Company: Prassi Technology, Product: PzWDM

PzWDM - Part of the Prassi Zulu engine. Comes with ONES, Zulu2, Recordnow! 4 and (updated) Digion Audio.

I don't know if this filter causes problems.

AFS2K (system32\drivers\AFS2K.sys), Version 3.1.17.0 (3.1.17.0)
Company: Oak Technology Inc., Product: AFS

AFS2K - CD-Rom Driver by OAK Software and HP Memories Disc.

James hates this filter

DRVMCDB (System32\Drivers\DRVMCDB.SYS), Version 3.30.4.0 (1.0.0.1)
Company: Sonic Solutions, Product: unknown

Used by Sonic and Veritas. Yet unknown in which software it is used (possibly backup software).

I suspect this might also have something to do with Drive Letter Access.

DLACDBHM (System32\Drivers\DLACDBHM.SYS), Version 5.20.1.0 (1.0.0.1)
Company: Sonic Solutions, Product: unknown

Drive Letter Access filter/driver

UGH! This needs to go!

This is packet writing software, and needs to be uninstalled. If you want drag and drop functionality, use dvd-ram instead, which is more stable.

Drive Letter Access filter/driver

UGH! This needs to go!

This is packet writing software, and needs to be uninstalled. If you want drag and drop functionality, use dvd-ram instead, which is more stable.

So . ..

a) Uninstall Drive Letter Access. Possibly you can do this from control panel-->add/remove programs

But if you can't figure out how to remove (or uninstall these programs) these filters, do this:

i) Create a backup of your registry
ii) Download imgburn. It's a free program: http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download
(it's also an excellent program imo)
iii) Go to Tools > Filter Driver Load Order. Select "DLACDBHM". Click "Remove Selected Filter". Select "DRVMCDB.". Click "Remove Selected Filter". Click "ok".
iv) Reboot

If James tells you to, do the same for ASF2K.

It's best to uninstall the programs that actually placed those entries in your filter stack. Then you can just double check to see if they're no longer listed:

i) Download imgburn. It's a free program: http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download
(it's also an excellent program imo)
ii) Go to Tools > Filter Driver Load Order. Select "DLACDBHM". Click "Remove Selected Filter". Select "DRVMCDB.". Click "Remove Selected Filter". Click "ok".

(Now back to essay writing for me . . . )

sorry bout that

Can you try to temporary get rid of this filter driver?

Afc (system32\drivers\Afc.sys), Version 1.0.0.2 (1.0.0.2)
Company: Arcsoft, Inc., Product: Arcsoft(R) ASPI Shell

The error message "Failed to send host key!" is ... not good.

EDIT: Instructions to remove the filter driver: See Webslinger's instructions above.
Thank you!

Thanks to all who have posted AnyDVD_Info files!

I believe we are getting really close to completely break MKBv4.

I have prepared another AnyDVD HD beta, please download it here:

http://sandbox.slysoft.com/beta/SetupAnyDVD6190.exe

This version should break the protection of the following MKBv4 discs:

HD DVD:
Evan Almighty, US
A mighty heart, US
Transformers Disc 1+2, US

Blu-ray:
28 Weeks Later, US
Fantastic Four 2, US (has BD+, so it won't play)
From Hell, US
Hostel, US
Hostel 2, US
Meet the Robinsons, US
Mr Brooks, US
Reign over Me, US
Spiderman 1, US
Spiderman 2, US
Spiderman 3, US

If another BD+ disc slipped through, AnyDVD can't decrypt it at the moment.

Now the question for you, folks:

Does the decryption work? Can these discs played back with with PowerDVD and AnyDVD HD running?

Feedback is very welcome!

If you want to send more AnyDVD_Info files, please use AnyDVD 6.1.9.0, as it outputs more information for me to look at.

Thank you very much for your help in making AnyDVD a better product!

Thank you for your posting! At least we can rule out a filter driver problem on your system, as the sysinfo log indicates, that you don't have any filter drivers installed...

Can you resubmit the same info using AnyDVD 6.1.9.0? Maybe I can figure out the reason for the "Failed to send host key!" message.
Thank you!

A few more, that won't work with the latest beta.
The Day After Tomorrow, Mr. Brooks, Transformers
