AnyDVD doesn't support output to paths with (certain?) Unicode characters

Just tried outputting an ISO image to a directory that contains a Unicode character replacement for the regular colon character (see below code), since Windows doesn't normally allow colon characters this is a visual replacement I frequently use.

Code:

However AnyDVD popped up an error dialog 'Error creating file <pathtofile>! The filename, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect.'

Removing the Unicode character in the directory was a workaround, but was hoping this could be looked at being supported natively.

Thanks
