Hey All,
I've been searching thru the forums for a couple days trying to resolve this. I'm getting to the end of my rope.
I have a brand new, Dell 530 with Vista.
AnyDVD seems to install OK, but says "No DVD drive detected".
Within AnyDVD I've tried going to Drives -> Selection - No drives to select.
In Device Manager, (And I'm thinking this is the root of the problem) There are no entries for a DVD drive. The Hard Drive is there, but not the DVD.
I tried blowing away the ATA channels and the ATA storage controllers but it always prompts me to reboot and then reinstalls them. Still no DVD burner.
I've got AnyDVD set to run as administrator.
I tried switching the SATA mode from IDE to RAID in the BIOS. No dice. Wont boot.
Not sure what to do next. Any suggestions?
