I have been using AnyDVD for some time and had no problems untill I updated to AnyDVD 6184. Now when I put any DVd into my computer and I have tried 2 different computers. I get the warning message. Failed to read DVD! It give several different reasons . I have tried to clean my DVD's and still get the same message. 1. DVD Media is dirty, 2. DVD Media is damaged 3. Your drive is a region Locked RPC2 drive, which does not allow reading of scrambled sectors from a different region, Known drives having this problem are RICOH/Phillips DVD writers and Matshita/Panasonic DVD readers and writers. You can try to find a PRCI patch firmware at http://www.rpc1.com 4. YOur drive is an PRC2 drive that has not been assigned a REgion. Try to assign one, or try to find a RPC1 patched firmware at http://www.rpc1.com Now when I disable AnyDVD it reads my DVD's just fine and I didn't have that problem untill I updated to AnyDVD 6184. So what is the deal??????
