AnyDVD 6.1.6.5 DVD not detected

Hi

I have installed the latest version of AnyDVD 6.1.6.5 onto my computer after upgrading it to Vista Ultimate.

After installing the software program a couple of DVD discs seem not to be detected in the drive anymore.

Disabling AnyDVD or closing the program altogether make no difference. Clicking the drive icon in windows explorere simply brings up a dialogue box asking me to put a disc in the drive.

I am using a Plextor DVDRPX-755A with latest Firmware.

My computer

Windows Vista Ultimate
P4 3.46Ghz EE
2Gb RAM

I have not yet installed any other software for ripping media (Roxio, CloneDVD, etc) except for iTunes.

Any ideas on what might have happened would be grateful.
