MY NORTON SECURITY SOFTWARE SAYS THAT THIS UPGRADE IS NOT SAFE! NORTON REMOVES THE UPGRADE. THERE MUST BE A BUG IN THIS UPGRADE.
Step 1: Remove the capslock button from your keyboard. There's no need for yelling Step 2: Read this https://forum.redfox.bz/threads/anydvd-and-virus-malware-warning-read-before-posting.72953/ and tell your norton to shut up. There is no bug if you grabbed it from the redfox site and the digital signature is intact. False positive as usual.

I have Norton Security Deluxe and I just updated to AnyDVD HD 8.2.5.0 and I have no problems with Norton seeing this as a issue. Usually Norton will have a window pop up when it detects something suspicious. Now I did not run a scan to see if Norton picks it up through a the scan though. I can run a scan and report back. Update: I did not get anything back from my scan so then like mentioned before Norton has already been patched and it did not pick up AnyDVD HD install or anything related to it. Same here and also sometimes security software does that just to make sure the software is safe. I get that sometimes when I am updating software I use and that window pops up and I just tell it to continue and to remember to not ask again because I know the software is safe.
My experience is that Norton squawks when the update is just released. If the update has been out for a small amount of time, it's not flagged. It's just an extra click to tell it to let it run.
Same does my Avast. Perfectly normal. A new release isn't known yet as safe to the software. Do it either flags as dangerous as Norton does, or in my case 'potentially unsafe' and asks to send in the file for analysis. Couple hours later Avast reports as safe. But long before that, I've temp disabled the shields and installed lol. I ain't waiting on a 'safe' report when I know it is. Sent from my Nexus 6P with Tapatalk
