every time a click on aggressive mode my computer locks up i have to shut it down using the power button. what is it that i need to do to fix it.

Posting an AnyDVD logfile would be a good idea. Why do you want to enable aggressive I/O?

Has anyone found the answer to what to do when AnyDvd requests to activate "Aggressive I/O mode and after doing so, the computer locks up every time? Any ideas on how to fix?

AnyDVD tells you why it wants this mode. Please tell us, so we can help.
EDIT:
Posting a logfile would be a good idea, too.
