Yep and it's called Waterfox, fire and water, I'm using it now and it is cosmetically same as firefox

No it's not. Waterfox is a completely seperate piece of software and a FORK of firefox. As i stated, firefox has its OWN 64 bit builds. Don't believe me ==> https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/. 2nd and 5th column.

I'm using 64bit FIREFOX as we speak.

OK well they both work, was no 64bit firefox when this came out. Same build numbers BTW, help goes to firefox.

Let's not get really off-topic. Firfox did have some experimental 64-bit releases. Then I believe they killed it off. Then brought it back. In the meantime you had unofficial Mozilla-based projects like Waterfox, Cyberfox, and Pale Moon which released 64-bit versions. So, let's not argue over a 64-bit release when numerous exist.

If you have 64bit OS try Waterfox. Somebody took Firefox and made it 64bit, noticeably faster

Waterfox is garbage. I installed it on two different computers of mine, and on both it performed dog slow, Firefox outperformed it by orders of magnitude and it eventually fell over, leading me to a firefox help page which said to click on things which had been removed from Waterfox! So much for being faster and better.

If you want a great Firefox alternative, have a look at Palemoon. It has the look and feel of Firefox before they tried to make themselves look like a 'Chrome knockoff', and the people that maintain it carefully pick and choose what new firefox additions make it into Palemoon, so that it is the most secure Firefox alternative around. And they've had their own 64 bit build for yearss.

Please stay on topic. This is about the forum migration and related. If you wish to discuss Firefox forks, 64 bit builds, please create a separate topic to do so.

At the risk of taking this thread farther off topic:

Is the 64 bit FF worth using instead of the 32 bit version on 64 bit Win 10?

Personally, I see no value using a 64-bit browser at this time. That's just my opinion, however.

I grew weary of Firefox quite some time ago and things got progressively worse. But, I used it as a backup, nonetheless. Pale Moon got me to dump Firefox. Better. Faster. Stronger. Errr.. wait that's The Six Million Dollar Man. Anyway, it's better, IMO. And with the recent major release, v26, it moved from the Gecko engine to the Goanna engine. Information about Goanna: https://moonchildproductions.info/goanna.shtml

Edit: On the Chrome front, which I mostly stick to these days, I have been toying around with Vivaldi. Has potential.
