I upgraded fron 6114 to the newest version today. When I did I get a error saying that
AnyDVD 6123
Wanring!
No DVD Drive Detected!
Possible Reasons
1. You don't have a DVD drive ,buy one.
2. You haven't rebooted your system after ANYDVD has been installed. Please reboot.
3.Your external dvd drive is not powered on or is not properly connected.
4. There is a problem initialisingthe ANYDVD driver.if this is the case, try this Unistall AnyDVD, reboot, install AnyDVD, Reboot.
It will not let me uninstall ANYDVD. It says it is running. Thats from the add/remove programs and the slysoft anydvd uninstall. this error comes up when i boots up. Everything worked great until i updated. So nothing has changed.

I get the exact same warning everytime. I have unistalled then reboot then install then reboot. As soon as I install the error comes up. When I try to unistall I get a 2 errors that I have to ignore just to get it to uninstall. Is there a way to get back to 61114 so I can get back to backing up movies.

FastStone Capture is free screen capture tool that you can use to copy the whole page or any part therein. Use an online host, Image Shack is a good one, to post as a Thumbnail.
Older versions of ANYDVD

Use EndItAll and then uninstall AnyDVD.

I rolled back to 6114 and still got the error. I removed both drivers, rebooted didnt get the error on start up but now I get a Norton system Frame work error when anydvd starts up now. Thanks for your help with this and the links

Does AnyDVD work now? My best advice about Norton is to Remove it completely and get AVG Free. Norton is overpriced, a system hog and known to cause more problems that any other software in the world.

Here is the Warning error.

This use to be the default screen used when Anydvd thought a crack was involved. Whether that's still the case, I'm not sure.

Based on your Norton issues, I suggest there are other problems on your system that are causing a corrupt installation of Anydvd.

If I remember correctly I got the same warning after I updated to the latest version of AnyDvd, I just ignored it and restarted my pc a few minutes later and it has been working fine since.

I dont have a crack version I paid for all my Sly Products. I got this message when I tried to install the newest version over my 6114. I reverted back to 61114 and still got it. I removed my drives from the device manager let windows find them and now I dont get the message on start up. I get a norton framework message if I use the autostart setting. If I dont use it I dont get a message. I am back to 6114 for now.

Thanks again old joe.

I wasn't suggesting this. I was just mentioning what James stated a long time ago about that screen. It's possible to get it for other reasons too, obviously.

I get a norton framework message if I use the autostart setting. If I dont use it I dont get a message. .

Out of curiosity, what does the full message say, and what OS are you running?
