300 Movie - Hardly any protection

http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=7093

If you check out the chart, you will see that Warner Bros. does not ever put severe protections on there DVD discs. :) It all depends on the companies budget.
What is that supposed to mean? Warner cannot afford the cost of a copy protection?
EDIT: I believe they care about the quality of their product, and we all know that the "new" protections like Arccos violate DVD specifications and therefore degrade the quality / value of the product.
Warner (New Line) is a good company. As was Paramount / Dreamworks until they released "Blades of Glory" R1.

Maybe Paramount wants to try something new and they were tired of MacroVision. :D

If a DVD movie has both CSS and APS it means that the disc is protected with MacroVision patent therefore, the company is paying the MacroVision fee.:)

You are comparing apples and oranges. If they use Arccos (or something similar) now and APS and/or CSS, they still have to pay fees to Macrovision.
And APS & CSS are defined in the DVD standard, the other crap is not.

Oh, hi, James! :)

Sorry for the missunderstanding. you're right.
