I get a failure every time I try to write the image file to the dvd on the first try. If I try again (same disk), I am successful. Any ideas on why this is happening?

MATSHITA drives are not that good and it is common to get errors with CloneDVD2 as well so I bet the same will apply for CloneCD as well.
