After opening a new Mastercard just to purchase AnyStream I've learned that the downloads video do no support playback on Apple TV (3rd Gen).
I've made numerous downloads from both Amazon Prime and Netflix and all of these downloads when played on any of my three Apple TV (3rd Generation)...
