    Remove adverts and trailers question

What I did last night was play the movie normally on powerdvd, write down the length of each vid sequence before the main menu, then go into BDInfo and I'd see sequence of the exact same lengths, then this told me how much to adjust that slider for, pretty cool. My only concern would be a...

    Remove adverts and trailers question

Man, if powerdvd is any sign of how these features work, its pretty cool. Some disc, like Disney, arent really affected but they do have that stupid menu bar that allows you to go to the movie. Another, for example, was my Terminator Salvation Blu, with all those removals on, powerdvd went...

    Remove adverts and trailers question

OK, so I have been playing with several of my discs, using the removal features on and off, then viewing in power dvd and seeing what happens. Can I assume, if I have them turned on, and power dvd has no problem getting to the main menu, and then playing the movie, that a rip to iso will play...

    Rip to Harddisk vs Image

So is: Rip DVD to HDD with a blu-ray = BDMV Folder? While of course Rip to Image is Iso.

    Remove adverts and trailers question

Ive been away awhile, and just reloaded anydvdhd in prep for my Dune HD player thats coming. In the past, I just always ripped to ISO and played my files with an Oppo, and the "remover adverts and trailers" option was still fresh and I never tried it. Is it a feature that works very...

Movie Only Copies: eac3to, tsMuxer & ImgBurn Made Easy

Thanks, BDInfo could be helpful in that operation. I did some experimenting with Clown and a competitor yesterday, throwing in a few discs with multiple tracks and seamless branching. The competitor product scans for awhile, and seems to do a job picking the proper track, which is the...

Movie Only Copies: eac3to, tsMuxer & ImgBurn Made Easy

Have Seamless Branching questions. I just bought a new Popcorn Hour, and plan to use Clown BD to rip my blu-rays, along with the English HD Audio, into a M2TS format, for playback off a HDD with the PCH. It seems Seamless Branching is an issue for some media players, and the best...

Any of you have a Popcorn Hour A-300

I've read the 300 models have a problem with Seamless Branching movies in Iso format, like Fast Five and Toy Story 3. Looking for any input on if you have experienced that, and I should try a different format. I always though Iso would be the most reliable format for playback. Im using...

Cinavia, Feb, 1, 2012 and forwards

Exactamundo! People think if its a pre 2012 player it wont be subject, I call BS. Matter of time. This hurts oppo, because other than stuff like SACD, it offers zero value now for me over my BDT210. Probably gonna sell it.

Cinavia, Feb, 1, 2012 and forwards

What it tells me is that every player this year will have it implemented, and its the new front in protection. Id guess its thru the BDA. You cant be a member if you dont agree to certain things. not a member, cant make BR products.

Well, Oppo is removing ISO support (at studios request), I think that gives us a good idea they may support Cinavia.

changing "rip to HDD" files to ISO files

Ive used IMG burn to create ISO from certain video files, not sure if yours are the right type though because Ive never done it that way.

    Warrior issue

I ripped it with 6.9.1.1 and played the iso back fine off a HDD with my Oppo.

    Anydvd (HD) 6.8.9.0 RELEASE

Ive noticed some discs take longer than others, always been like that.

Would "leave protection on" and burning an image to a BD-R DL be OK? I mean the watermark would be there, and the protection would be there. Would this be a viable backup solution as a worst case scenario?

    Anydvd (HD) 6.8.9.0 RELEASE

Ive not messed with removing trailers or the set term length for video clips. Gonna start next week. As far as having to chose a Region Code, is Auto the best?

Cinavia, Feb, 1, 2012 and forwards

Well, I can understand that, BUT (and its a big one), if this was forced on all capable players in Feb, gonna be a lot of ISO users up shat creek. Might have to look into a Popcorn hour :), unless its got Cinavia...

I guess with players and discs already supporting it, testing is underway around here ;)
