Nicely done. Great intuition about the 15-second startup delay moving from annoyance to show-stopper. With the increased timeout, 1.6.8.1 works. There's no real change in observed traffic, but apparently that increased timeout is enough to let things work after the 15-second delay...

Yes. No packets are going out with 1.6.8.0 (I checked on my router). Maybe the workaround doesn't work on Win7? Any way to generate a log file at this early stage?

I found this thread by searching for "playlist". This still happens in 1.3.2.2, and closing and re-opening the NF tab fixes it.
