After you ran the program by right click and select run as admin, what happens if you run the program normally now?

On Vista try right clicking on AnyDVD and select Run as Administrator and see if that launches the app without the error.

I did read the post. And yes I did enable safe mode as well as disable UAC. In fact I have two desktops running Vista and the exact same error occurs on both boxes.
