    PowerDVD Ultra build 3516 released!

I have a "little" free space on this laptop. Me having a couple ripped BDs stored on the HDD is convenient in that I can watch/play the movie without having to handle the disc(s). Playback from HDD is also less processor intensive(laptop/battery/runtime). I tried the newest version(3516)...

Don't let children play with Blu-ray discs

Uhm... get a better Blu-ray player? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5jEbZt6AIQ Use AnyDVD and make a backup? Put the investment in a place that kids can't grab them and use them for sidewalk toys? *ANY* disc can be destroyed ... not just Blu-rays!

AnyDVD HD no longer going to work with WinDVD HD & BD?

I don't think it is Sony. Machine works fine. AnyDVD works fine for "normal" DVDs. For BDs... drive doesn't even see the BD discs. No AnyDVD, drive sees and plays the BDs fine. EDIT: Ok, just installed PowerDVD... AnyDVD HD running and PowerDVD has no issues playing the BD...

    6.1.3.2 HD killing playback

6.1.3.2 is still keeping this machine/Intervideo WinDVD BD from playing a a BD movie. As soon as I exit AnyDVD, playback can be started. Ah well, manual will have to do, I suppose. I'll live! 8)
