The handbrake ATV2 preset conversion 720p plays just fine.

Good suggestion. I had a similar problem with clownBD ripping terminator salvation due to the branching streams , an update to clownBD I think fixed that. I will probably try handbrake to downrez it to 720p to save memory.

I just watched the whole movie on the original blu ray disc on my Denon blu ray player. It played beginning to end without issue. The rip I performed ealier , I let it play on my laptop. It is playing beyond where the laptop gives up if I skip chapters so that is kind of interesting...

Does the log file above shed any light pls ?

I don't use network shares , I just connect ripped images on an ext hdd directly to the wdtv. So what are the settings of AnyDVD that can be played with ? With AnyDVD running I can skip chapters on the original bd all the way to the end.

No it did not , it never has. Is this something the new software version does ? Btw, the original blu seems to play fine, I can skip thru all the chapters till the end. Can anyone comment on the log file I posted please .

When I tried playing the iso on my laptop , I was using WinDVD (which plays BD ) and it failed too. I could try to see if its software needs updating too. Failing that , would the AnyDVD beta be worth a shot ? Not sure when Ted was released on BD.

The BD is UK , I presume region B. I have tried to attach the logfile.

All other movies I have ripped using AnyDVD play just fine on the WDTV player though. I will try providing further info.

Hi, Avatar being 1.78 aspect ratio takes up a lot of memory and will not fit on a BD25 disc. But is it possible to demux it to 2.35 aspect ratio ? (obviously wouldn't be as the director intended it to be seen .) I just wondered if there is this option .

Sorry to hear that. Well it turns out tsmuxer alone is sufficient to merge into one iso for seamless branched bd discs. I was selecting the mpls that was for video commentary (632) , the one without, or at least one of the ones without was 00002 mpls. That worked fine and now I am a happy...
