    Movies using 60p vs. 24p

I tried it last night, it seems to depend on what video renderer that I used, MadVR just froze right up while others worked better. It did however produce the typical 24 fps judder, like the opening pan scene of the train station in Gemini Man. I may try setting my UB900 to output only at...

    Movies using 60p vs. 24p

I don't know anything about what your talking about when it comes to aperture when it concerns 60 vs 24 fps, but how would you get away from the SOE when filming at 60fps ? Especially since it's not an effect, but simply a result of how things look when filmed at 60 fps. Your question will...

    COVID 19

Sorry for the mistake, I'm not usually that careless, yes, that large number are cases, deaths are 101,732 world wide. So nowhere near what the regular flu is. Here is where I got that from...

    COVID 19

I've run into all sorts of people while grocery shopping, some with masks and gloves, and others with out. Some take it more seriously then others, my personal thoughts are that enough wasn't done at first, now maybe too much in the other direction ? In my area all businesses that are open and...

Can you play 4K UHD with Amd Processor and UHD Friendly Driver?

Any one of those drives should work as a friendly drive if it's crossed flashed to a version to make them friendly, see this thread. And as you know the SVC code has to be NS50. Once the drive is made friendly, it doesn't matter what processor or video card you use in general, although I prefer...

    madvr Envy

That in itself it probably why the cost is up there too, licensing fees. It all gets passed on the end user.

    madvr Envy

Madshi said in one of the threads at AVS Forum that the computer based free version for the HTPC will pretty much do the same thing. The only reason why someone would want this is to get around the learning curve of MadVR and the fact that it's a licensed product. For myself, I would be solely...

    Question on AnyDVD HD....newbie here

I think something needs to be said here. AnyDVD HD, although it can decrypt UHD discs, that function isn't officially supported yet and it can take up to a number of weeks or even a month or more for a given disc to be supported.

How to burn a BR when in files

But if he just burns the files and folders of a Blu-ray DVD to disc, it just remains a bunch of files and folders _ and in that state will a player know what to do with it, weather that player is licensed or un-licensed ? I thought that it had to be in an ISO format/container to be of any use...

How to burn a BR when in files

You can either use the free version of Clone BD, that will make a 1to1 copy of your files with out re-encoding. Or Imgburn (my favorite). On the opening page, select "Create an Image File from Files and Folders" After it's converted to an ISO, then you burn that ISO to disc. You can also mount...

    Madvr / mpchc version reclock?

MPC-BE doesn't come with LAV filters, so you will have to install them to get UHD discs to work. Once they're installed, you have to go into the external filter window with in MPC-BE and enable them and set priority. MPC-HC has them already installed, but they are out dated, so if you have to...
