for future reference, keep all old versions in a special folder on your hard drive, that way, if you ever have to "roll back", it'll be simple. I've been keeping all the files for years.

yes, as mentioned above, roll back to the previous version. i haven't updated mine in years bcuz every version past the one mentioned, gives me fits. i know this doesn't fix your overall post, as in, why no good updates, but it will get you back up and running, QUICK.

Not sure how any company justifies not putting special features on DVDs, but I feel it's an injustice. Am I alone here? I've heard a few of you say you don't care about special features, but I watched a hilarious movie, went to special features, saw one titled "Bloopers" and was so excited...

i DEFINITELY love and still use the heck out of the program. my kids scratching dvds is a thing of the past and not all of us have unlimited internet to stream whole movies.

It's already handled a few movies that my old burner wouldn't. That's a step in the right direction, YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i've asked a few times before, but didn't get much response. my burner died on my laptop and i've never messed with replacing one on a laptop, so i just bought an external. it's an asus sdrw-08d1s-u, i hope i picked a decent one. anyone have one of these? if so, what do you think?
