Very odd because it is in English.

Does anyone know why when I am on my home computer, the forms (SlySoft) come up in Italian but when I am on my work computer it is in English? I am signed on into my account and I live in Seattle so I am pretty far from Italy.

DVDfab works great for this. I use AnyDVD HD to rip the Blu-ray to my drive and will use DVDfab to take out anything extra I don't want and just the main movie. I keep this on my Media Center while storing the original Blu-ray disc some place safe. But I'd rather use CloneBD.

Reading this I am a bit confused. It sounds like Blu-rays don't have a unique disc ID like DVDs do?

What is the difference between Clown BD and Clown BD Copier? Does copier retain the menus while the other doesn't? I'm sure this was asked before but I am not finding it.

What are you using to burn to single layer BD discs while retaining the movie file without shrinking it?

I was reading some other threads about this but never really found my answer. What I am looking to do is rip all my Blu-rays and then burn only the main movie with the 1 audio track I want to a BD-R single layer, or a double layer if the main movie needs to be converted to fit on a single later...

Thanks for the reply. It looks like my receiver does support AAC being 5.1 so I need to play with it a bit. I actually am checking out Handbrake which seems to be a bit better then AnyDVD Mobile but I am still taking a look and comparing both.

I'm curious, how does everyone feel about the encoding quality from DVD (MPEG2) to H.264 with Apple TV preset and the quality turned all the way up? My DVDs are currently ripped to MPEG2 files but I am thinking about changing them all to H.264 to work with my iPad but I want to keep the highest...

Yup it was the region locked. Once set it started working properly. Should have read more.

I also never have set the DVD region on any of my drives before. Would this be causing a problem? I'm not at home so I can't see if they are set on my Media Center or my USB DVD drive.

What is happening is that I keep getting an error that AnyDVD HD has failed to read my DVD. It keeps saying it may be dirty, damaged, etc...but the DVD plays perfectly fine. I seem to have this issue only with notebook DVD drives. This issue is happening on my new MacBook Pro and it happened...

I actually have this happen now after going through about 10 DVDs. I have to then reinstall the software to get it back to normal.

I did but that didn't help. The only way I could fix it was to uninstall and install the software again.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I will have to look into another program to convert them for me. I can put each DVD in and do it but I have a lot of movies and it would take a lot of time again.

I was looking in buying CloneDVD mobile but I am wondering. Is it possible to use just a straight MPEG2 file to encode into a smaller file? I have all my DVDs ripped to MPEG2 so I would hate to have to go and rerip them with CloneDVD mobile to put them in a format for my iPhone.
