It's Back :-) I just installed build 4102 and happily my HD play is back. Have no idea why but I won't argue with success :-)

Lost HD play on PDVD 7.3370d

Any other ideas Thanks for the advice Chris but I like the way 3370 handles BD disc images and have several new BD discs that I doubt earlier versions will play. I was considering blowing off PDVD altogether and installing from a much earlier version and upgrading to 3370d. Other than that...

Lost HD play on PDVD 7.3370d

Folks this is VERY weird. About a month ago I upgraded my Video card to an ATI HD3650 (from an ATI X-1950) so that my system would work with TMT. In that no new HD-DVD's have been comming out my watching has been confined to Blu-Ray discs and I usually use PDVD. Yesterday I attempted to watch...

    TMT Warning

Insane Changing the hardware requirements without notice to users by way of an update is INSANE. I've NEVER heard of this before, except for MS needing more memory to run XP properly after SP2. This one is WAY over the top. What a great way to get people to use a player that is new to...

    TMT Warning

My system had an ATI Radion X1950 which worked perfectly with three players, PDVD, Nero and TMT. Last week I allowed TMT to update. That was the end of Video playback (I use XP). Their specs now require an ATI 2400 or better (forget about them saying suppport is only for Vista as the 8.3 ATI...

    Help with PDVD

With ver 7.3.3370a I inadvertently clicked the don't ask again box when it wanted to change the screen resolution. Now I can't find a way to "unchange" it. I have looked through the settings and have been unable to find a way to undo this. Does anyone know where this information is stored so...

    BD/HD DVD ISO Image Creation

Well... I agree it is not a subdstantive differance since I tend to rip then burn then remove the ISO the extra steps of mounting with Deamon before the burn then unmounting takes a few extra steps and seconds. Not a big deal but not needed as I end up burning the Anydvd'ed ISO in either case.

    BD/HD DVD ISO Image Creation

My Rip Method After using AnyDVD for years I have gotten Lazy. Hence I try to use as few steps as I can to make backups. Using AnyDVD-HD loaded I now rip directly to ISO with ImgBurn then use the same program to Burn the ISO file to BD-R, I have now done so with all BD discs I own under...

    BD-R Prices

Labels I too print S-DVD's on an Epson (R 280). And actually have purchased BD (blue) cases and print cover art. I'd very much like printable BD-R media but the only types I have found are VERY expensive. Can't wait for more competition so the prices drop and the printable media becomes...

    BD-R Prices

Labels I have had VERY BAD LUCK with labels in the past on DVD-R as a bout 1 year later the disc's are no longer plyable (suspect the air bubles lift reflective coating). These disc's appear to be of MUCH better quality. I wonder if lables would work. Any thoughts on that?

    BD-R Prices

Follow Up Since I live in California the disc's arrived the next day with standard shipping ($3.28) They worked great on both my Sony & LG burners and played from my stand-alone Samsung BD player. Only thing I don't like about them is Back is Mirror Finish, hence, you not only can't print...

    Three Cheers - Sunshine

My Hat is off to the Slysoft guys (James & Peer) on ver. 6.4.0.4. Several months ago when Sunshine was first released I ripped it to HDD. Later I converted the AnyDvdHD rip to a ISO using Imgburn. Today using 6.4.0.4, I re-ripped the Mounted ISO to an ISO file. Latest Powerdvd now plays...

    Printable media discs?

Inkjet Printable I have purchased such DVD-R media made by prodisc for years now at www.supermediastore.com at about $.31 each in hundreds. They have been VERY reliable with almost never a coaster. They also play in every standalone DVD player I have tried. As I live in the Los Angeles...

BD-R Pricing Hell, I didn't even realize there was a Blank discs forum :-) How's about a sticky here?

    BD-R Prices

How about a sticky on BD-R prices as they seem to be "All over the place" When a user finds a great price let them post a link. I have heard of discs at $5.95 each but only long after the sale was over. As many of want to burn our backups this would be a boon to the membership.
