After doing a little testing, I purchased it because of just how well it works. I converted a few hundred ISOs into MKVs and it was painless and hassle free. worth every cent.

I am quite happy with it. Now that I have a modern GPU and CPU, I am transcoding all my BR and UHD ISOs into MKVs and it is doing them fast and perfectly. I am using my shiny new GPU for transcoding more than I am gaming. lol

Just to add a little more to the discussion, Intel has stopped adding SGX to their CPUs, you cannot go past their 10th gen and still have SGX. It has been asked on the PowerDVD forums if PDVD will also drop the need for SGX and they said they cannot, due to the legal requirements to use SGX...

And the patience the mods here have...I wonder if the Vatican will consider Sainthood.

An update - found out that sometimes PDVD will not work if an Insider edition of Windows is used. I have never run into this issue, but after being pointed in the direction of CyberLink I found that info in one of their forum posts. Wanted to full circle the issue.

It will play UHD ISOs, created by RedFox, with all the HDR and other bells and whistles? It does not say it will play WTV files, with is the Windows TV file...what WMC saves TV shows in. Do you know if it actually can play them?
