No, it won't play on anything. I tried what you suggested with the IFO files, still error messages in players or NERO. Whoever encoded the disc probably did a lousy job of it. Thanx for your advice anyway.

It's an older concert, an import and out of print. Was quite surprised to find a torrent of it. Would like to salvage the file if at all possible. Oh well, guess I'll have to try Club CD Freaks.

Never seen this before. I D/L'd a DVD file with Bittorrent and tried to burn it to disc using NERO, but got an error message saying my BUP files were not identical to the IFO files and the Compliance test failed. What can I do?

That will work? My normally totally reliable combo of AnyDVD + DVD Decrypter for ISO/DVD Shrink for compressing just failed me for the first time ever on the latest Bond film, after 100's of successful rips. Thanx for the tip. :bowdown:

Thanx for the tip, I'll look for those apps and give them a try. Funny how I can watch the .avi with WMP and it's fine. It's a rare DVD rip of the movie Meatballs and I'd hate to give up on burning it to disc, it's impossible to find at any local video store.

I have used this software many times to successfully burn .avi files to DVD format, but one .avi file in particular just will not convert, when viewing it in the preview panel the picture rapidly goes all pixelated and soon after the conversion attempt fails. I've looked in other forums...
