Well *I* haven't need it! (Until yesterday!) ... and I have been using 1 Click Copy Pro and AnyDVD for *years* now!!

Finally encountered a DVD that required me to set the "Aggressive I/O mode " in AnyDVD - Mystery Science Theater 3000 Collection Volume 12 ... Without "Aggressive I/O mode" set to 'on' 1 Click Copy Pro refuses to play ball with any of the four discs in this box set ...

As a user of 1 Click DVD Copy Pro I have to say I have yet to encounter any situation where I have had to enable "aggressive I/O mode" in order to use Any DVD ...

Strange, AnyDVD normally tells me via a popup message that there is an update available, Then I usually get an email notification afterwards. On this occasion I've had neither ... If I didn't check this forum occasionally I would have never known ...

Only when I used to use Mail Washer Pro. Removing that stopped the problem. (I decided they were clashing in some way (both trying to get at the same area of memory)) ..?

I can't make work, have a wife for that sort of thing ..:)

Users of the various '1Click Copy' software packages may like to check the latest update which (as well as having a "new burn engine" also claims to be "more compatable with Any DVD") ...

Somebody should invent an Internet search engine .. :)

Why? Seems to me that anyone with any common sense would simply close AnyDvd and then install the new version *over the top of the old one* ...

Presaumably the people you bought the disc from sent you an NTSC copy labelled as PAL. As you're in the US it makes sense ...

When was the last time you de-fragged your hard drive or ran your AV (and or) AS scans ..? Just because you have a problem doesn't automatically mean AnyDVD is misbehaving ...

...and there was I thinking that many of the Sony drives were simply re-badged LiteOn units ...

Have to agree, either he is doing something wrong or his computer has something running that is preventing AnyDVD from functioning correctly. Notice this forum isn't full of posts from other people having the same trouble ...

Might have helped if you had had the decency to tell us what operating system you are running!?! For the record, no problems at all here (XP Home SP2)

It also helps to have a TV set that is capable of displaying both PAL and NTSC ...
