Thanks for the responses guys. The menus on the purchased disc behave as expected when not being controlled by AnyDVD. Lionsgate has been making menu trickery a specialty for a while now.

No joy in 8.1.1.2 for "20th Century Women". New Ziplog attached.

20th Century Women US retail. Copy behavior: movie plays fine when selected from the main menu. The other main menu items (Scenes, Setup, Special Features) lockup my DVD player when they are selected. More Lionsgate nonsense. Ziplog attached.

I had trouble last night due to Norton deleting the downloaded install file, but tried downloading the new version and installing it again this morning, and had no issues.

CloneDVD2. Potentially interesting: My Lenovo branded PowerDVD 10 software DVD player treats the original disc the same (scenes menu inaccessible) as the copy when AnyDVD is running, but accesses the scenes menu just fine on the original disc only when AnyDVD is turned off.

Sorry, it has taken a few days to confirm that this one is resolved for me. Both discs of Grantchester Season 2 US retail copy using 8.0.4.0, and the copies behave perfectly in my DVD player. Thank you James.
