I use a CD / DVD binder to hold all my backups. Then I name them Book 1, Book 2, etc… I store all my DVD’s that I own in Movie Collector [Awesome Software] to keep track how many movies I own or on who's borrowing what? :cool:

If you adjusted the drive speed it could very well be your media. :cool:

I just started to use DVD neXt Copy w/ AnyDVD as well... Made a backup of SAW III unrated R1 [Which was decrypted prior burning] quality was unbelievable… :cool:

I made a perfect backup of Island of Dr. Moreau w/ AnyDVD & Clone DVD2[Slysoft Software not the issue in this case]. Try cleaning disc or think about purchasing different brand of media if problem continues to reoccur or maybe having driver problems? Check for driver updates.

Just to clarify how I made a backup of SAW III unrated R1 I used another decryption method [Not AnyDVD ver. 6.1.1.4 error before Shrink could analyze] Used Shrink for compressing. Perfect FULL BACKUP all annoying trailers, menus, etc…

One of many of my Burners is a LITE-ON check firmware and update at: http://codeguys.rpc1.org/firmwares.html#SHW-1635S This might resolve your problem. Sounds like your driver is missing or corrupted.

No problems perfect FULL BACKUP! Shrink encounters error w/ AnyDVD 6.1.1.4. Went an alternative route for encryption methods. Sorry forgot to mention. Again I apologize.
