I have tried to re-produce this but to no avail. No lock up or high CPU spikes with this machine. The machine I tested this on is a single core with HT (if that makes a difference). AnyDVD HD 6.5.3.1 Windows XP SP2 EDIT: I hid the icon via the task bar properties.
