I too had trouble with VCD 5.4.2.3 under Windows 7 beta (build 7000) x64 after I'd installed an earlier VCD. However, I subsequently did a fresh reinstall of Win7, and VCD 5.4.2.3 then installed and ran properly.

When I watch the Mongol BD, PDVD consistently crashes at about 0:49:00 or 0:50:00. An error pops up: Visual C++ Runtime Error, Buffer Overrun. If I jump to 0:51:00, the movie proceeds without difficulty. (I don't have AnyDVD enabled when this happens.) No other BDs or DVDs have caused this crash...

Oh well, that still doesn't work for me (PowerDVD 7.3.4116, GTX 260, 181.22, Windows 7 beta 64-bit).

Am I right to assume that if PowerDVD succeeds in playing the Blu-ray properly (ISO mounted as a virtual drive), albeit with the Aero problem, but drops the audio when it plays the m2ts file directly (from the same virtual drive), then it's not a Codec problem?

Oh well. It's disappointing, since Windows 7 is otherwise working well enough that I'd considered migrating to it (from XP) while it's still in beta. Any idea why there's no audio when I play the m2ts directly? (Pardon my ignorance of Blu-ray formats.) Or any suggestions on how to fix that...

I just remembered that Across the Universe had had a similar problem. So I tried the TSRemux workaround posted here regarding that disc, and it worked for Shine a Light too.

Thanks. TSRemux worked fine. For now, I'm just using an older PowerDVD to play it from a folder. But I'll keep the .iso option in mind for the future.

I find it can be played as a media file too, except the dialog (but not the song lyrics) is in Italian and there seems to be no option to select a different audio track. Does anyone know of a workaround to get the English audio?
